Tailored Oral Tie Evaluations
If you suspect your baby may have a tongue-tie, lip-tie, or buccal-tie, we provide a thorough, conservative evaluation and an honest discussion of potential next steps. Our approach aligns with American Academy of Pediatrics guidance, so you are informed and supported throughout the process.

Post-Consultation Support and Follow-Up
Our care does not end when you leave. We provide follow-up instructions, exercises, and continued support to ensure long-term progress, and our team stays reachable to answer your questions and guide you every step of the way.
Questions, Answered
Not every baby does, and we will always tell you the truth. The American Academy of Pediatrics cautions against overdiagnosis, and our approach is conservative and evidence-based. The consultation exists to evaluate carefully and recommend the right path, which sometimes means no procedure at all.
We start by listening to your story and concerns. Dr. Culotta then evaluates your baby's feeding, oral anatomy, and tongue mobility, explains what she sees, and builds a personalized plan with you. You will leave with clear answers and next steps.
Yes. As both a dentist and a lactation counselor, Dr. Culotta addresses the structure and the function of feeding in one visit, whether you breastfeed, bottle feed, or both.
Sometimes bodywork or lactation support is helpful first. If that is the case, we will guide you to trusted providers. We collaborate closely with the broader care team around your baby.

Dr. Culotta is awesome! She really spends time providing care during the consultation and follow up, gets to know about your little one in depth, and takes her time explaining everything and answering any questions. She made us feel very cared for and seen. The procedure went well and a bonus is getting the cutest photos ever of your little one in the goggles they need to wear for the procedure. 10/10 would recommend.

I can't express enough gratitude for Dr. Culotta! We came to see her after our lactation consultant recommended Latched Beginnings for a potential tongue and lip tie revision. I was super hesitant because who wants to put their baby through that. But Dr. Culotta was super communicative and transparent about what she recommends and had us start with some bodywork first. We then decided to go through with the revision and just a few days later our baby is eating so much better than she was pre-revision. Working with her has been a game changer!

Dr. Culotta and her team were amazing! Her entire staff was super professional and caring. She makes sure the babies are fully comfortable and numb for the quick procedures, and she goes above and beyond to educate parents. We're very grateful she was able to help us with our baby's tongue tie release. It's been a couple months now, and our baby has been doing very well feeding and growing!
